  • Mediation involves three phases:

    Pre-mediation: Where the mediator gets to know the parties, and is introduced to the issues that are to be mediated.

    Mediation: Mediation sessions will occur after the parties clear Pre-mediation. Parties will either meet together with the mediator, or alone with the mediator, with the intention of problem solving.

    Post-mediation: Parties will end mediation in a variety of ways, which may include the production of agreements and/or documents. Regardless of the conclusion, Alternative Decisions is committed to uphold the needs of participants during an after services.

    Individual mediation sessions can last as little as an hour or as long as a day.
